Further details: The monthly two-hour sessions could include, inter alia, topics as diverse as: Greek sculpture; Greek pots, The Parthenon, Roman villas and mosaics, Pompeii and Herculaneum, Slavery in the Ancient World, Understanding Roman inscriptions, Hadrian's Wall (perhaps with a study visit), Roman and/or Greek literature (poets, historians, tragedians, comedians, philosophers etc), a survey of any classical site (especially ones which participants may have recently visited/be intending to visit whilst on holiday somewhere in the Mediterranean.
