WELCOME
Welcome to Guisborough U3A. We are a self-help, self-managed lifelong learning cooperative for older people no longer in full-time work. We are affiliated to The Third Age Trust, and a registered charity (No.1125829).
We provide opportunities for our fast-growing membership to meet like-minded people, and to get involved in a wide range of interest groups. We get together to meet new people, try new activities and to have fun in learning.
The pages on our website will tell you all you need to know about us but above all we look forward to you joining us at our monthly get-together at Guisborough Parish Hall on Bow Street on the afternoon of the first Wednesday of each month. You may in addition find some of your questions answered on the FAQs document below.

Guisborough Parish Hall, Bow Street Our next regular monthly get-together is on Wednesday, 6th October, 2010 at 2pm in the Parish Hall on Bow Street where you can enrol for the current year 2010/11. Our annual subscription remains at £10. For further information about us and how we operate, please click here. For information on how to join, how to register for Gift Aid and to download an Application Form, please go to the Join page on our website. 2010/11 membership is needed to participate in our Activity Programme.

NEW - See the Events page for up-dated visits and excursions for 2010. For our next lecture in the Methodist Church Hall on Wednesday, 29th September at 1.30pm (note the change of time!) we are delighted that George Hetherington, accompanied by his electronic keyboard, will talk to us about the life and work of George Gershwin. We can now also confirm that our November lecture will be at 2pm on 19th November ( a Friday!)in the Methodist Church Hall when our local MP, Tom Blenkinsop, will give us his first impressions of the House of Commons.
